Update:
New upgrades have been released that will help improve the performance of the Flyer arm when operating heavy camera loads. The modification involves replacing Camera Pin 601-7225 Rev. A or Rev. B with a larger diameter Rev. C pin. Rev A and Rev. B pins can be identified as having a ¼” diameter main shaft while Rev. C pins will have a 3/8” diameter shaft.
Upgrade to the new camera pin will involve removing the old pin and drilling out the corresponding mounting holes in the Front End Piece (601-7209) using a 3/8” diameter drill. After the 601-7209 has been modified, the new components can be installed.
Assembly upgrade components consist of:
1x 601-7226 Rev C (or higher) Camera Pin Tube.
1x 601-7225 Rev C (or higher) Camera Pin.
1x NUT-096130 3/8-24 Hex Nylon Collar Loc-Nut.
2x WHR-150655 3/8” Nylon Washers.
