The Steadicam Flyer and F24 Flyer was created for today's 35mm film and video production.  Both Flyers incorporate the same revolutionary Steadicam arm design that won the coveted DV Professional Association's "Best of Show" at NAB.

Designed by Garrett Brown, the inventor of the original Steadicam JR, the Flyer arm is engineered for affordable mass-production but it's tough and capable, with an astonishing, ball-bearing smooth, thirty-inch, top-to-bottom range of travel. For the first time, operators of light rigs can enjoy the same feel and tool-free performance as our top $18,000 arm. If you close your eyes, you can't tell the difference (except "That" muscle won't be sending you the usual telegrams!).

The frictionless, silky smooth Iso-elastic arm boasts a 30" double-section lifting range with a tool-free one-touch lift adjustment for each section.

Both models come outfitted with the new ergonomically designed Steadicam vest.  The F24 includes a new high-definition/standard-definition color monitor making it both HD and composite compatible, plus exclusive 12/24-volt switchable power capability.  The Flyer includes a 12-volt system.

The new Steadicam HD Brite color LCD monitor with enhanced image quality and wide viewing angle, even under bright sunlight, make it ideal for field production use (standard with F24 Flyer).
